交通运输 江山是华东沿海地区与浙闽赣边界地区交通干线的交汇点。浙赣复铁铁路横贯市域，建有浙西最大的铁路货运场。国道、省道、市道公路纵横交错，四通八达，沿高速公路到上海、宁波约3个小时，到杭州2.5个小时。正在建设中的黄（山）衢（州）南（平）高速公路贯穿全境，有四个交通接口。市政府所在地距衢州机场四十公里。
邮电通讯 江山市己具有国际先进水平的程控交换机和光纤传输为主、有线与无线相结合的数字通讯网络，宽带国际互联网络以及国内国际邮件特快专递业务遍及城乡，对外通讯方便快捷。
供电供水 江山电力供应纳入华东大电网，供电网络日臻完善。现有220千伏变电所1座，110千伏变电所4座，35千伏变电所9座，水电站29处，热电厂和资源综合利用电厂7座，全市变电主设备容量达89.2兆伏安，供电保证率达99％以上。目前有白水坑、碗窑、峡口等三座大型水库，库容量达6亿立方米。城区日供水能力15万吨，可满足生产、生活用水需要。

Transportation
Jiangshan is the centre of the boundary area of three provinces with convenient transportation condition. ZheJiang-Jiangxi multiple track ,state highway and provincial highway cross Jiangshan. There is a railway freight yard which is the largest one in the west of Zhejiang. It takes about 3 hours to Shanghai and Ningbo, and 2.5 hours to Hangzhou along Highway. With four exits here, Huangshan-Quzhou-Nanping expressway is been building crosses the city. The municipal site is 40km away from Quzhou Airport.
Posts & telecommunication
Jiangshan boasts internationally advanced programrne-controled switching systems and a digital communication network.consists of optial fibre transmission, wire and wireless systems. Such services as Internet and express mail delivery are available. Communication is fast and convenient here.
Supply of water & power
Jiangshan has had transmission lines connected with and incorporated into the East China Power Network. There is now a 220 kv transformer substation, four 110 kv ones, nine 35 kv ones, twenty-nine water power plants, and seven heat and power plants. Power supply is guaranteed at a rate of 99%. In terms of water supply, the city possesses now a capacity of providing 150,000 tons of water for the urban areas per day together with three large-scale reservoirs. Water supply can meet demand for large-sized industrial production and living.
